ST BREOCK DOWNS MENHIR

This haunting looking menhir is situated in a field of wind turbines, high up near the summit of St Breock Downs. It stands in the middle of a low mound with rubble around its base, and just like its nearby companion Men Gurta (a few hundred yards to the west), it consists of the same high in quartz and feldspar type of granite.
...from certain angles this beautiful stone resembles an erry hooded figure
