Situated on a gentle east facing slope above Delank River, stands this beautiful but quite damaged Stone Circle. It is thought to
have had 22-28 stones originally, but now comprises just 10 uprights and 4 recumbent. This is a true circle with an even spacing of stones, all similar in height with
squared tops and flat inner facing sides.
The coherency and working of the stones seems similar to that of The Hurlers Stone Circle Complex, and within close proximity of Leaze Stone Circle are also the
remains of two other ancient stone circles (Emblance Downs Stone Circles);
suggesting this area may have once been a similar type of complex.
