Just 90 yards NE of Stannon Stone Circle and with Roughtor in very good view, stands this unusual and mysterious stone setting. It has been suggested that these stones could be the remains of a stone row that connected up with Lowden Stone Circle, (which the remains of are
close by); this is, however,
quite speculative and the site remains a mystery.
