CHUN QUOIT

Sitting elegantly on open moorland and close to Chun Castle, stands this charming and rather compact quoit. It is one of the most well-known and best preserved of all the Cornish dolmens, and is highly recognisable for its endearing, mushroom-like shape.

One of its alternative names; CHY-AN-WOONE, translates as 'HOUSE ON THE DOWNS'
